Farmcomp now speaks directly to the customer

For the project implementation Farmcomp chose Smartbutlers as their partner.

The collaboration began in May 2020. It included a major site overhaul across five websites in total, one corporate site and four product brand sites. The main goal of the renewal was to create a channel for Farmcomp to communicate and share product and usage information to end users via the brand sites. Farmcomp’s products are sold through resellers, so the company has no direct contact with end users.

“The new site helps end users find information about the products, use the products correctly and get good tips,” says Merene Hovilainen.

Because Farmcomp has customers around the world, the new sites will be available in many different languages. The first implemented brand site olli.fi was built in four languages. In total there will be 22 different language versions of the corporate site and the brand sites.

“I am currently working on the language versions for both Farmcomp and our brand sites. There are so many that the work will continue well into early 2021.”
