Euro-BioImaging website redesign

In collaboration with Euro-BioImaging, we developed a highly customized, responsive, and user-friendly website on the WordPress platform. The project also provided an opportunity to revamp the content hierarchy and navigation, creating clear pathways for different user groups. Additionally, we simplified content management so that a ten-person editorial team can keep content up to date efficiently.

Key features

The new website features intuitive navigation and an improved structure. A clear and logical menu makes it easier for visitors to find news, events, and imaging services. We developed a set of reusable elements (blocks) for WordPress, enabling the Euro-BioImaging team to update and create new pages easily while maintaining a consistent site appearance.

One of the most significant features is seamless integration with MicroscopyDB, a worldwide directory of microscopy-related events. This allows Euro-BioImaging to showcase content from the external community, such as events and training resources, directly on their website.

Results

After the launch of the redesigned website, Euro-BioImaging experienced significant improvements in user engagement. The site’s immediate bounce rate has decreased, and visitor flows from social media have improved thanks to the updated interface and clearer navigation. Feedback from the Euro-BioImaging community has been very positive, with improved usability and a fresh look receiving particular praise.

Future outlook
