Smartbutlers’ work began with specification documentation together with the client. In this phase, the logic and use cases of the performance bonus system were reviewed. Next, a demo version of the application was created and tested with selected users. In target group testing, the emphasis was on testing usability and logical flow during the project phase.
After the demo version, development moved on to the release version, taking into account the issues identified in testing. Development work has continued after the application’s release.

The implementation of the performance bonus system at the client is divided into a project phase and a reporting phase. The project phase is a one-time phase in which metrics, their weights, and threshold values are defined. The reporting phase follows the project phase and is when the performance bonus system is in use at the client. Thanks to the application, executing the project phase is more agile, as the client can independently fill in basic information outside of short meetings. The system can also create multiple different user levels and team-specific performance bonus setups. In addition, client users, both team leaders and employees, can now easily check and update their status in real time.
